Presents an image browser based on Self-Organizing Maps (SOM) that arranges images on a 2D grid where visually similar images are placed close together.

Graph Visualization for Interactive Image Search

Supervisor: Professor Alain Boucher, Institute for Informatics in French-speaking areas, Vietnam.

Score: 15/20 (ranked 1st in class).

Designs a graph visualization combining radial and spiral layouts to represent and exploit linkages between bags of words in image databases for interactive search.

Check Spelling Based on Analyzing the Grammar of Vietnamese Phrases

Bachelor’s Thesis (2004, in Vietnamese)

Develops a Vietnamese spell-checking application based on natural language grammar analysis. Published as Some improvements for the Earley parser in natural language processing in Hue University Journal of Science (in Vietnamese).
